- The UK Gambling Commission — the regulator for gambling in Great Britain. Licensed operators must display their licence details.
- Live casino / live dealer
- Table games filmed in a studio with a real dealer, streamed to your device. Outcomes follow the physical game; software handles bets and results display.
- Game studio / provider
- The company that builds slots or live tables (for example Evolution, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play). Operators licence catalogues from multiple studios.
- Match score
- Our percentage rating of how well an operator fits the editorial spine of game variety and live-casino strength, based on the published criteria.
- Welcome offer type
- The structural shape of a new-customer promotion (match bonus, free spins, hybrid). Not a promise of value — terms on the operator site apply.
- Wagering requirement
- How many times bonus funds (or related stakes) must be played before withdrawal conditions are met. Always check game weighting.
- RTP
- Return to Player — a long-run theoretical percentage of stakes a game is designed to return. It is not a prediction for a short session.
- Volatility
- How a slot tends to distribute wins: higher volatility usually means less frequent but larger hits; lower means steadier small results.
- GAMSTOP

- Reality check
